Introduction to Ancient Astrology: and it’s connection to Alchemy

Date 31 Jan 2020 09:00 AM - 02 Feb 2020 03:00 PM Location The Kul Kul Farm RSVP

Join us for this unique Introduction to Ancient Astrology.

During this workshop we will be sharing the connection between alchemy and astrology which will act as an important foundation for the Herbal Medicine Workshops we are hosting in February. (Find out more about these here).

Astrology and alchemy are in essence concerned with the same thing but working on different levels or realms. Astrology deals with the celestial realm- the planets and stars and Alchemy with the earthly realm of the same thing, the movement and manifestation of the planets and stars in the physical form: matter, plants and humans.

The purpose of this workshop is to better understand the inner and outer workings of our world in accordance with the beliefs of astrology passed down by ancient Greeks and Egyptians. This understanding will help guide us today in making better decisions in our lives for self growth, to create balance and harmony.

The ideas and concepts presented in this workshop are beautiful, fascinating and complex ones. Our ancient alchemists spent many generations gaining the wisdom required to understand the symbolism, myth and philosophy of astrology and alchemy.

Come with an open mind and heart and sit at the edge of your seat while Mauricio and Indio share stories from the great astrologers and philosophers that have been passed down for centuries.

More of what you will learn:
How our ancestors used ancient myths and stories to help better understand our connection to the planets, earth’s elements and their energies,
Understanding of the principle ‘as above so below’- how our inner energies and the planetary outer forces influence one another,
Become familiar with your own natal chart and learn how to identify some strengths and challenges that you are faced with to guide yourself on the path of conscious evolution.
