Join Bamboo U at The Kul Kul Farm for a 1 day workshop to learn how to build a bamboo yurt. Learn about the potentials and limitations of this extraordinary sustainable material, approaches to parametric design and bamboo model making, and gain hands-on experience building a full scale bamboo structure!
Following the study of traditional Mongolian architecture, we design and build yurts which fold like an umbrella and that can be deployed in an instant. These bamboo structures are elegant, extremely light weight and economical.
The range of practical applications of such modular structures is endless, so are the opportunities that bamboo’s versatility offers us.
Bamboo U is a division of The Kul Kul Farm, that offers bamboo build and design courses and workshops. Find out more about Bamboo U here.
